Build a Relationship

A lot of business simply use social media as a way to promote their business, and they don’t respond when customers reply or comment on their posts. This means they are missing out on the two-way communication social media offers businesses and customers and it means there are lots of potential sale opportunities which are being missed out on. Therefore, if a customer does reply then the business should try and engage them in a conversation. This can build brand loyalty and generally improve the image of the business.


Create a Hashtag

Creating a hashtag which is solely for customer service queries for the business is a great way to help customers on social media. This helps to organise the requests coming through and makes sure that none of the queries get lost in the haze of the timeline. To ensure that customers use the hashtag, it can be a good idea to put the hashtag in your businesses bio and instructs customers to use the hashtag if they want to get through to the customer service team.


Aim to Create a Customer Advocate Base Online

One problem which occurs on social media is a customer going to the company page and leaving a negative review. To overcome this, it can be a great idea to try and build a loyal base of followers to your businesses page. This can be done by having giveaways on your social platforms, which give customers a prize if they share or comment on a post. By building this type of loyalty, you will get these customers advocating on behalf of the business should someone leave a bad post about the business.


Link Reviews Together

A businesses Facebook page gives the customers the option to leave a review and rate the business. The business can then link this with other platforms where people can relate the business. By linking them together, it can help the business improve the online presence of the business. If the reviews are generally good, then this can help to bring in referral traffic to the website and could be one of the best ways to bring in inquiries or get more sales.

How To Remove The Background Blurred Image On Post Pages Of Emporio Theme

If you are using Emporio blogger theme, you will see that when you click on a post, there is usually a blurred background image at the top. If you will like to remove it or hide it, this post will show you how to do so.

There are two methods of doing so. One is by deleting the codes inside of the Emporio theme responsible for the blurred image. The second method is to add  CSS code to hide the blurred background image.

Let proceed with the first method

==> Sign into your blogger dashboard at blogger.com.

==> Go to Theme > Edit HTML.

==> Look for the following codes and delete them.

</style>

==> Click Save Theme.

That's all

Now let me explain some things here. When you delete the codes from inside the theme you will be able to add a gadget at the top sidebar. 


If you choose to only hide the blurred background photo, your first gadget on the sidebar will not be at the top, parallel to the post title. There will be a free space.

How To Make Emporio Theme Sidebar Show On Opera Browser

Emporio theme is one of the best new themes from Blogger and customizing it has been an issue for many bloggers after installing it. While editing the theme, I didn't check my blog on Opera browser until two fellow bloggers sent me the screenshot of how my blog appears on Opera browser. The sidebar always falls at the bottom of post pages. That is, when you click on a post, the sidebar is seen at the blog bottom, above the footer.

Emporio theme is designed by default to let the sidebar sit at the bottom on some browsers according to its width. There is a media query condition in Emporio theme code that is responsible for it. But this can be corrected and the sidebar won't appear at the bottom. Below is a simple tutorial on how to fix that.

Sign in to your blogger dashboard at blogger.com.

==> Go to Theme > Edit HTML.

==> Search for @media (max-width: 1328px) 

==> Edit 1328px to 640px or to a range of not more than 750px.

==> Click Save Theme.

Domainking.ng Apologizes For Service Disruptions That Occurred In February, 2017

Domainking apology letter may be late but it better than never. Everyone back then was really worried as some believed they will never come back so they transferred their domains to other registrars. Being a Domainking customer, I received an apology email for the service disruption that happened some months back. The reasons for service disruption and measures taken so that such incident won't occur again were stated.

We are writing this email to apologize for the service disruption that occurred in February on our platform.

We owe you a big apology for our service disruption in February that had affected our support & services at DomainKing.NG. We really messed it up & we know it.

We know this apology may be coming very late from us, but we are sincerely very sorry for the inconveniences & problems caused to you by our service disruption. We seriously understand the trust you place in us & our responsibilities as a Hosting Service Provider. And I cannot express how sorry I am that we were not upto the level that you expect from us.

Reason for Service Disruption
Our services were affected because a client who had registered a domain with us, abused our services to defraud an organization in India. Being the service provider of the domain, we were involved in legal trouble with the authorities in India. Due to this, we were not able to provide full support to you in February. We have responded to the concerned agency and have provided them with the requested information on the abusive client.

Our support & services were restored in March. But there were still some issues with our backend system which affected some of our services. It took a while for us to fully restore these services as we have been working on improving our system to detect abuse & fixing the bugs. All these issues have now been fixed.

For this, we have created Level 1 Escalation (Department Heads will look into your issue & ensure to resolve your grievance), Level 2 Escalation (Manager will look into your issue if the Level 1 isn't able to resolve your issue) & Level 3 Escalation (Management will directly ensure to resolve your grievance).

Gramblr Lets You Post On Instagram With A Computer

You can access Instagram on the web, comment and like posts with the use of a computer, but can't upload photos or videos. For now, Instagram doesn't support posting from the web. Although there are many web applications that allow you to post on Instagram with a PC, not all have a straight forward process.

Gramblr is a web application that allows you uploads photos and videos to Instagram when you use your computer. So, if you have ever wondered how to post on Instagram with a computer, Gramblr is one solution for that.



How To Use Gramblr To Post On Instagram
