Stanbic IBTC Naira Debit Cards Now Work For Facebook Ad

Facebook ad is one of the best social media marketing channels to reach potential customers. Sometimes, due to constant changing of policies, many banks usually decline their Naira Debit Mastercard or Visa card from working for facebook ad payment.

Stanbic IBTC Naira Debit Cards hasn't been working for payment of Facebook ad. I opened my account with the bank some time ago after a staff of the bank assured me that their Silver Mastercard do work for international transactions since it is connected to a current account. But it didn't work. The staff just wanted me to open an account with Stanbic IBTC and I fell for it. Lol.

But recently, after the bank announced that their Naira Debit is now enabled for international transactions, I decided to try it to pay for Facebook ad.

When using the card for the first, you will be sent One Time Password (OTP) to verify your card. If successful, you can start using the Stanbic IBTC Naira Mastercard for Facebook ad payment.

At the first attempt, my card was declined, the same thing that happened to my Skye Bank Naira Mastercard when I try to use it some time ago but was later accepted after several attempts. So I decided to try again and Facebook accepted the Stanbic IBTC Naira Mastercard.

Stanbic IBTC Naira Debit Cards Can Now Be Used For International Transactions

Stanbic IBTC is among the healthy banks in Nigeria and as a customer, I have been looking forward to when I can use my Naira Debit Mastercard to make payment online on foreign merchant sites. That was the one of the main reason I opened the account when other banks suspended their Naira debit cards from making international transactions. Little did I know that Stanbic IBTC also restricted their Naira Debit Card from been used for international transactions.

But the good news is, Naira Debit Cards of Stanbic IBTC can now be used for international transactions. This means that you can make payment for Facebook ad, domain name registration, web hosting and other online purchases using their card.

Please note that monthly spending limit for web transaction has been pegged at $3000. Even if it was fixed at $1000, it still makes sense, or what do you think?

How To Remove Google Smart Lock On Flipboard App

If you are a user of Flipboard and you have downloaded the app from play store, there is an option to signup or login with your Email. When you log in with your Email (Gmail), your detail is automatically saved in the Flipboard app and it becomes locked. This is a result of the Google Smart Lock feature in the app.

What this means is, you can't use another account to login into that Flipboard app on your device. For instance, if you have two Flipboard accounts in which you use email to log in, the first one you use on the app will be the one that can only be used. Another email account won't work, this implies that you won't be able to use your second Flipboard account on that device.

I had the problem when I first installed the app on my phone. I log in with one of my accounts and I thought I could log out and then log in with another account. But no way, it was not possible. I contacted the Flipboard team but the feedback didn't help to resolve the problem.

After much efforts, I found a solution and it worked.

You can also delete the email account saved to the Flipboard app. With this, you can now log in with another Flipboard account on that app in your android phone.

I hope this works!

Flipboard Publisher: After Approval What Next?

There are benefits of becoming a news publisher on Flipboard. In one of my previous post, I wrote on how to become a Flipboard news publisher. If you have tried to apply and you weren't approved, you can retry again. If you were approved, what next?

When you submitted your RSS feed, you created a magazine that was private pending approval. Once your feed has been approved, the first thing is to make the magazine public so that people that easily find your content.

Build Your Presence

Initially, you must have created a magazine for the approval process, but after approval, you need to bring it to life. That is, organize it in a way it appeals to people. Work on the title and description. Create more magazine if you so desire and add relevant content.

Add the Flipboard Share and Follow Button to your website so your visitors can share your content with their Flipboard followers. As you can see below this post, I have added the Flipboard share button among the other social media share icons.

Share your Flipboard profile and magazines on social media so that people know about it and share your articles.

There is so much to Flipboard. There are millions of people searching for news, stories, and articles on the platform. You can get a grab of these surfers.

If you have been approved as a publisher, what has been your experience so far?
